Japanese candlesticks are an important part of Japanese candle art. This piece is a product of Iwate Prefecture and is made of Nambu ironware wrought by famed wrought iron artist Hisao Iwashimizu.

Born in Iwate Prefecture, while taking advantage of the traditional techniques unique to Nambu ironware, in a richly original way Iwashimizu produces a variety of ironware, including iron kettles, sake containers, candlesticks and wind chimes.
